Keep Calm & Colour On

Keep Calm And Carry On

Amid the hustle & bustle of everyday life, coupled with the constant barrage of news media coverage, it's important to set aside quiet time for yourself; to breathe deep and be present where you are.

One of the best ways to accomplish this, is through mindful meditation. While potentially overwhelming (or perhaps boring), there are many ways one can meditate...and it doesn't involve downward dogs, or sitting cross-legged on the floor (unless that's your thing!)

Mandalas (like the one below) are not only beautiful to look at, they're also very effective meditation tools. They traditionally represent wholeness and can be interpreted as a diagram for the relationship between "the infinite" and the world that extends beyond/within the mind and body.

There are several ways to meditate using a mandala - We've taken the time to create a simple colouring page (based off our Mandala Print featured on our Sightsee Shirt) and we invite you to print it off (click the image for a larger, printable copy)  and spend some time with your creative spirit.

We'd love to see how you interpret our mandala. Feel free to send us photos of your completed work of art on Facebook or tag us at @dianemkennedy on Instagram.

Wishing you a wonderful & peaceful Easter Long Weekend!
